DONATE: In an effort to help our brothers and sisters in western North Carolina who are dealing with the devastation from Hurricane Helene, all donations to the Deacons Fund during the month of October will be given to hurricane relief efforts. If you wish to support this please designate your checks for the Deacons Fund or choose this option for your online gift.
COLLECT: We will also be collecting non perishable food items throughout the month to go to help Second Harvest Food Bank in their efforts to support hurricane relief. You can bring your donations any Sunday to the main lobby. Please give as you are able; thank you!
MOST NEEDED ITEMS:
- Paper towels
- Trash bags
- Disinfecting cleaners (food safe)
- Peanut butter and jelly (plastic containers only)
- Pop-top complete meals (including soups)
- Pop-top fruits in natural syrup
- Canned chicken or tuna
- Individual cereal bowls
- Family-sized shelf-stable milk
